Starting over and finding herself.

Starting over and finding herself.

Starting over and finding herself.

After moving to a new city, Lisa thought she’d feel excited. Instead, she felt alone — away from her friends, her old routines, and her sense of who she was. She came to me not because something was “wrong,” but because she wanted to feel at home in her own life again.

Lisa was navigating a mix of loneliness, uncertainty, and self-doubt. She’d left behind a familiar identity and was unsure how to build a new one without feeling lost in the process.

The Journey

The Journey

The Journey

Lisa's life looked perfect from the outside, but inside she felt like she was running on empty. Week by week, she began to swap perfection for presence, and to see herself with more compassion than criticism.

Starting Point

Lisa knew little about hypnosis, but her friend back home had recommended me. Together, we explored what she valued most and how she could bring those values into her new environment. She revealed that while she knew ECH® was designed to connect with her Higher Self, she was also curious if her loved ones and guides might show themselves as well. I told her anything was possible, and if Lisa needed to connect with them at this time, she would.

The experience for Lisa was emotional. Her grandfather, who had passed away the year before, revealed himself to her as a guide and gateway to her Higher Self. The messaging was clear—she needed to go outside of her comfort zone. Contrary to what Lisa believed, she was exactly where she needed to be. Her soul family was in the new city; she just had to make an effort to connect with others. If she didn't, her grandfather and guides couldn't step in to help. She had to make the choice.

Lisa decided to make small steps — joining a local book club, volunteering once a week — slowly built a sense of belonging. A book club member just happened to volunteer with the same organization as Lisa. The synchronicity was too hard to miss and couldn't be dismissed as mere coincidence. They shared a deeper connection Lisa couldn't explain. And while it was something she had never experienced before, she knew it was meant to be.

Lisa began to trust her instincts more, making decisions based on what genuinely interested her rather than what she thought she “should” do. Instead of believing she was alone and could not survive without what was familiar to her, she surrendered to opportunities rather than running away from them.

This wasn't just about how Lisa adapted to the new city, this was also about adapting to herself, accepting her fear of rejection and change. Not knowing the outcome of an invitation or potential decision became less important to her. It was opportunities that opened up to her just by surrendering that became her new way of living, of existing.

My Approach

Spiritual hypnosis is more than just chickens clucking on stage or a way to embarrass yourself for an audience's entertainment. It also isn't just about stopping unhealthy habits or sacrificing your autonomy— it’s a gentle way to slow down, notice what’s really going on, and explore yourself and your knowing at a level that runs much deeper than what traditional hypnotherapy can provide. In a world that constantly pushes us to keep moving, taking this time for yourself can feel like a radical act of self-care. It isn't. It's the act of remembering who you are, what matters to you, and how to unlock your joy of living.

The process isn’t about fixing yourself or forcing you into circumstances and situations that you don't want to experience. It's not about reprogramming your brain to erase the old and program something new. It’s about building self- awareness, finding clarity, and developing spiritual tools and practices that are actually meaningful for you. You have all the knowledge within, and you are never in more control than when you are tapping into the wisdom of your guides and Higher Self.

A simple guided hypnosis session becomes an invitation, a step toward understanding yourself better and creating changes that last. We all have different ways of accessing our truth and our path. It's just a matter of taking the leap into the unknown, knowing you are always supported along the way, and having the will to give yourself permission to receive.

Final Reflections

Six months later, Lisa described feeling more confident, connected, and hopeful than she had in years. The city was no longer just where she lived — it became part of her being. Her world was turned upside down and inside out, but she had made piece withself along the way. Every door was a new adventure, and in a world where adventure seems strange and out-of-reach, Lisa felt more at home living in magic and wonderment than in loneliness and fear. Feeling at home doesn't rely on any specific location. It is a matter of being present in the now.
